He is a Chartered Accountant, heading the finance department of the group. He also heads the plastics vertical. He was the President of PlastIndia Foundation, the apex body of plastic organizations in India. He has also been the President of Indian Plastics Federation.

He is a Commerce graduate from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and a Chartered Accountant by qualification. He is responsible for the operational and technical development of the lighting division. The coordination among the lighting units in different cities is ensured under his guidance.

He completed his Post Graduation in Marketing from University of Leeds, U.K. He joined work at a time when the lighting industry was shifting from conventional to LED. For backward integration, an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) unit was setup under his supervision.
